Corrections from last posting, I did have some documentation connecting some Newbrough’s of Chester Co. Pa & Newbrough’s of Frederick Co. Virginia. Just not Joshua Newbroughs

Know all men by these presents, that whereas ABRAHAM DARLINGTON late of the Township of Birmingham, County of Chester and State of Pennsylvania, deceased by his last Will and Testament bearing date, December 21,1798, and whereas the said ABRAHAM DARLINGTON did in the said Will nominate and appoint AMOS BRINTON of Bradford Township, his Executor as by the said recited Will may appear. Now know ye that I the said AMOS BRINTON by virtue of said Will as an Executor thereof I have nominated and appointed my trusty friend JOHN NEWBERRY and CHARLES McCRAY, both in or near the Town of Winchester, Frederick County and State of Virginia, for me and in my name and for my use and benefit to ask deem and receive of and from the heirs. Executors or administrating JOSEPH NICHLIN, late of said Frederick County, deceased, all and every part of the money which he the said JOSEPH NICHLIN, deceased or his heirs, Executors or Administrators have received of or from ISAAC WOODROW, of the Town of Winchester for two Bonds whereon the said WOODROW, is bound for the payment of certain sum's of money. To Wit. One Bond given to ABRAHAM DARLINGTON in his lifetime, compound for the payment of 40 pounds, 1 shilling Virginia currency bearing date May 7,1789 out of the aforesaid Bond, WOODROWS proven acct. was deducted and settled. The balance due on said Bond May 30,1799 the time of settlement was 25 pounds, 18 shillings, 9 pence, Virginia currency for which the estate to pay interest until paid. One other Bond bearing May 30,1799.
Conditioned for the payment of 73 pounds 4 shillings and 7 pence lawful money of the State of Virginia unto AMOS BRINTON, Executor of ABRAHAM DARLINGTON, late of Chester County, and State of Pennsylvania, deceased. And whereas I the said AMOS BRINTON, Executor of said deceased, did the 22nd day of January 1800 delivering sent said JOSEPH NICHLIN for the recovery thereof for my use at an Executor as ? received bearing date herewith a copy of which is herein enclosed with instructions ??? ISAAC WOODROW the ? not on or before March 25,1800 pray of said bonds then the said JOSEPH NICHLIN was to pursue measures for the recovery thereof as the laws of the State in such cases directs, and whereas the said JOSEPH NICHLIN by his letter bearing date June 21,1800. Informs me that he day received two due bills for Rent to the value of 50 pounds which he put into the hands of a lawyer for recovery, but still kept the Bonds in his own person. Since the above letter I have had no information from JOSEPH NICHLIN re? the ?. Whether he ever recovered any part there of in his lifetime or his representatives since his deceased. I know not, but request you and each of you to make the inquiring regarding to ?. whether there is a probability of ever obtaining any part of the money from WOODROW. Sufficient to justify me in giving you a Legal Power of Attorney to act for me without being liable to more cost than profit, if you should be of open on that there is a likelihood of recovery any part worth the trouble of writing for and sending a letter of Attorney to you, you will please to give me the earliest information of I shall send by the first safe conveyance, that I have all the Power of Authority in the premises I am ? of. Friend AMOS BRINTON thee fab sorfer to inform the Joseph Nicklen can't get no money from the said Woodrow for lawyer weight tests me that suite went against Woodrow for them to sue bills that Nicklen sued for and I have no opportunity at thy bond at this time for Nick I can't get to see him at this time thee will have to come out thyself about this affair.
This from thy Friend JOHN NEWBROUGH, More over I would be glad that Friend AMOS would be to kind as to a visit my brother son a day or two to see him righted in getting my money his business and the favor shall not be forgotten this from JOHN NEWBROUGH to AMOS BRINTON, miller on Brandywine Creek.
