Who is the Sarah Newbro enumerated in Green Township, Hamilton Co OH in 1850. She may be the Sarah who married James VanBlaricum same location in 1860. Some had thought that she was the widow of David Newbrough. But there are children in the household that are not in any of the family histories for David that I have found and her age is wrong.

Have put together the following information on James VanBlaricum. Looks like he married two Newbroughs, first was probably a dtr of John (son of Joseph Newbrough and Sarah Hayhurst) and Margaret or Peggy Nee Youst Newbrough, Green Township, Hamilton Co, OH. Second either the widow of a Newbrough or another daughter of some unknown Newbrough.

The William in the 1860 census with Sarah fits the William in the 1870 census with James, and the age for Sarah is consistent with the Sarah Newbro in the 1860 census. But the age is 10 years off what the age of David's widow would have been based on the 1850 Franklin Co IN census for David.

Amanda, dtr of James VanBlaricum in the 1860 census, married James Reddish in Hamilton Co OH in 1860. Daniel Newbro, who is missing in the 1870 census from the combined households of James VanBlaricum and Sarah Newbro, is living with sister Amanda and her husband James Redish [Reddish] in the Miami Township, Hamilton Co Ohio 1870 census.

Finally, according to some sources, James wife who was the mother of Joseph was a Cathoma Newbrough. Joseph VanBlaricum, b. OH 7 Nov 1844 d. 17 Jul 1928 in Noble IL, has his father as James Van Blaricum mother as "Cathoma Newbrough" on his death certificate.
