I saw the following Obit in local paper other day and found that he was not of my line, but that of Fanny New, Wayne, Ky.

Jack New, b: February 24, 1937 d: January 7, 2012, Liberty Hill, Texas
Jack Propps New, 74, joined his heavenly Father on January 7, 2012, at Lighthouse at Altenheim Hospice in Round Rock, Texas. His girls were all with him. Jack was born February 24, 1937, in Cushing, Oklahoma to Eston and Corrine (Propps) New. As a young boy, he moved to Texas with his family. He grew up in Gilliland, Texas and attended school in Munday. He loved spending time with his grandparents, Jack and Eron Propps, out on the ranch where they worked and lived. He learned to work hard and do his best during this time.
He married Venta Mae Baty after graduating from high school. They were blessed with a daughter, Linda. He lovingly cared for Venta Mae during her battle with cancer. After her death, he met Katherine Ressel. They married in Seymour, Texas on June 4, 1965. They had a daughter, Nancy, the following year.
