I have NEUs in the Dayton OH area in the 1870s. Franz Neu, whose parents were Frederich Neu and Helen Stomps. Franz and his wife Rosina Wehinger both immigrated from Germany as kids. Their daughter was Frances Neu. There were several sons too. All in Dayton I believe.
