I am researching my great grandmothers father. I do not have much info: his name was Chas (Charles) M. Nelson. He was born in Norway in approx 1852. died in the US about 1899. Married Thea Grandahl b. 1866 Norway immigrated to US in 1885 with her mother. My great grandmother was born in Biloxi Missippi in 1892 her name was Bertha M. Nelson. She had two brothers Charles Arthur Nelson b. 1890 Iowa and Henry W. Nelson b.1894 Minnesota. I have a picture, well two actually they are the same photo, on the back of one it is hand written "The Nelson's" They are the type of photo's that are glued to cardboard like paper stock. One interesting thing is that one photo at the bottom says
Biloxi, Miss, and the other I beleive not to be in english.I have attached both photo's and the back of the second. How is that possible...did family's pass around negative's way back then? Any way I do not know if anyone in the photo is my g g grandpa Chas and if so which one he is. Does this photo look familure to anyone? Thanks for the help. PS I know my g grandma and her brothers are not in the photo because I have photo's of the them. Thanks agian. Kim
