If you are still on the hunt for Henry Neace, husband of Anne Bush, you might want to research Jacob Neace/Neese. Jacob appears in Russell County Virginia property tax list of 1787 in the lower district. Henry appears in 1788, also in the lower district. Jacob's wife was named Mary. The couple made three land transactions in 1791. The first one being with Edward Stapleton on March 22 1791; the second being to Michael Auxer on September 1, 1791; and the third being to Austin Bush on September 29, 1791. Austin being Henry's wife Anne's family. Both Henry and Jacob appear in the lists in 1824. Anne Bush's heirs were granted to tracts of land one 40 acres and the other 50 acres in 1826 Russell County Virginia. Anne was deceased at the time. Copies of the documents for the 1826 land grant are available at the Virginia Library online. Jacob Neace/Neese was granted 390 acres at the forks of Copper Creek, Clinch River on July 5, 1785. This was Washington County at the time. It wasn't until some years later Russell County Virginia was formed.
You might also want to check out the neese/neece families in Shenandoah Virginia. There is a lot of cross migration between these two counties. Many of the Nehs/Neese/Nease line appear there, including Jacob Nehs born 10/12/1738-died 4/13/1823. He is buried inthe Solomon Church Cemetery.
Other Nease/Neese's are buried int he Zirkle Cemetery. I have a feeling Henry's father's name is probably Jacob.
