My grandfather William Percy HARDMAN applied to be naturalized in July 1912 in Brooklyn. The petition was witnessed by Adolph NAAR, 1224 38th St. Brooklyn. He was a neighbor of my grandfather's father-in-law, George Randolph PEARSON, who lived at 1236 38th St. Brooklyn. Mr. Naar's profession is also given, but I can't read it. The only letters I am certain of give me: L...ma... It looks like Lentectman or Leircit Male, which are nonsense, of course.
I hope this info helps someone.
