Surnames: Naab, Frank
I think I found my Anna Naab, born 18 November 1835 in Schwabsburg, emigrated through New York on 28 May 1857 with Jos. Peter Naab (age 59), Catharina (age 58), and Adam (age 33). I think her parents were Joseph or Jost Peter Naab and Eva Katharina Frank. If you have any additional information on the Naab or Frank families or know where I can find this information please let me know. My email is gublerjones@yahoo.com

Just a clarification - Adam Naab was 23, not 33 - he was christened Johann Adam Naab.

Dear Barabara,
My grandmother's maiden name is Naab, born in Nierstein ( next to Schwabsburg); the farmhouse of my relatives in Nierstein is locally known as 'Birnbaum Naab'. From this farmhouse leads a secret underground cellar to the fortress of 'Landskrone' in Oppenheim ( my cousin never checked it out completely)., indicating that this farmhouse had close connections to the 'ruler' of the Landskrone castle. To the best of my present knowledge Reichart Naab is somehow realated to me, but due to the often complicated family history, I do not know, how. I may be able to ask my cousin, still living in the 'Birnbaum Naab' farmhouse about the family tree.
Should you be interested, please contact me.
Peter

I am a Naab decendent and the information that you have listed in this message puts me as a great great granddaughter of Jacob's brother Adam.
I have four children of Adam's: Sophia b-1870, Minnie b-1874, Adolph b-1872 and Peter b-1868.
Peter is my great grandfather who married Anna Maier and they had twelve children. One of those is my grandfather.
The information that I have is from my great aunt Hilda.

I am looking for information that takes me back to a Peter born 1796 in Germany and married Eva, came to US in 1850. Peter died in 1872.
If any information further back, I would appreciate that.
