Kevin,
I hope that you were able to connect my Naab family to what you have. Peter and Catharine Naab were the parents of Anna Naab, born 19 Dec 1845 in Germany, died 17 Dec 1914 in Chicago. She married Philip C. Erbe/Erby about 1860, and lived in Chicago. (I think the birth year may be off). I don't know if there were any others that are related but I have been working on the Erby family and would love to share that information if anyone is interested. I am also planning a trip to Chicago in October; if anyone can tell me of any good sources of information where I could find more on this family I'd love to hear from you
Daniel

I have a Catherine Naab in St. Louis, Mo, Married to John Steiger. Baptismal records at St. Peter and Pauls have John Theodore Steiger b May 8, 1868, and Emma Steiger born. Feb 27, 1870.
Is this part of the branch?
Thanks for any information.
Maggie

My grandmother's maiden name is Naab and she was born in Nierstein/Rhein. The village of Schwabsburg is only 2 miles away from Nierstein and there are still members of the Naab family ( I am related to, but do not know how) living there. Anybody interested in the Nierstein/Schwabsburg backround can contact me and I can try to find out more by contacting my relatives still living there.
