My Grandmother was Mabel Naab, b. 12-21-1889 in Osceola county IA. Father Andrew and mother Myrtie Siver(s). She died 3-5-1985 in Pipestone MN. Would like to trade info with others possibly related to her and myself.

Tim--- I have been trying to compile all the various Naab families into a cohesive family tree and have finally finished! Your line is from Peter Naab, born 25 Sep 1787, in Schwabsburg, Rheinhessen, Hesse-Darmstadt. If you'd like more information please contact me, I'm willing to share everything I've found. I'd also like to collect any other information you'd be willing to share on Andrew and Myrtle's family and descendants.

Daniel I was notified of your post to this page but am confussed as it was to Tim. I have spoke to the Tim Naab listed in other posts here and he is a relative of mine. I will put together my info and email it to you. I do request that you ask before sharing it with anyone not related. I had a guy posting my info on rootsweb and he made it look like he did all the work. I and a few other Naabs have been conversing for a couple of years. Some of them an in other threads on this same page. Looking forword to hearing from you. Sincerely, Kevin Tadd Montevideo MN

I have just started researching this family and I have noticed many posts about them. I am interested in finding the actual facts. The person I would be interested in in particular would be Peter Naab born 22 Mar 1815. He was married to Appolonia Maurer. According to the census records he was born in Hesse,Darmstadt but according to various posts including this one he was born in Schwabsburg. Could someone please clarify the facts for me. Does someone actually have documents proving the parentage of Peter? My thinking behind this is the fact that there is a lot of mileage between the 2 places mentioned. I have posted in another thread too
