I am searching for the Thomas Myler and wife Elizabeth, born a Larkin. Suspected but not proven of being from County COrk. They settled in St. Basile Parish, Portneuf Co., just west of Quebec City, Quebec Province, Canada in about 1832 with most of their children already born. A middle child, Mary Myler married my g.g.grandfather Patrick Joseph Lawless in 1853 in Quebec. They had seven children together, ended up on the Georgian Bay, then eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan (chippewa Co.), where she died in 1889. Their youngest was my g.grandfather Edward Joseph Lawless. Thomas Myler lived to be 98 in Quebec, and at least one sibling may have come with him from Ireland. Strange that there are older posts of a man with Larkin as a first name and Myler as a last name. Coincidence! Or not?
