Hi I'm looking for anyone who can help me research the Myatt side of my family. My dad is called Andrew Charles Myatt (22/12/1958) the son of George Myatt (4/5/1922-7/2/1970). George was the son of Benjamin Joseph Myatt who was married to Nellie Breeze. Any help would be appreciated and I can hopefully return the favour.

George Myatt, my grandfather was born in Bury but all prior generations of Myatts in my family were born in Wales/Shropshire, mainly listed as Oswestry, Llanwnog or Montgomeryshire. I also notice there was a considerable estate at one point but not sure what happened to it as no one in my family seems to know much about money. I know that Benjamin's father was Andrew Myatt and that in turn his father was Edward Myatt and his was Richard Myatt. I have noticed that a lot of the censuses have relatives dumping their kids on their parents. Really don't know much. My grandad died when my dad was 11 so we know less about that side of the family than my grandmother's.

Any information you have would be helpful. My great grandfather died before I was born but he helped raise my father as my grandfather died in 1970 when my dad was a boy. I know a few tit bits about Benjamin but the rest is a mystery other than names.
