OBITUARY
July 16, 1960 "Piqua Daily Call"
Piqua, Ohio
B. Earl Murphy, 66, of Piqua died today at Piqua Memorial Hospital where he was addmitted Wednesday. Mr. Murphy was a former Chamber of Commerce manager and grocery store owner. Born in Newtonsville on July 7, 1894, he was the son of Delos and Nettie (Whitaker) Murphy. He was married to Virginia Rose on February 12, 1919 in Norwood. He was a member of Piqua Baptist Church and founded Men's Prayer Circle. He is survived by his wife, Virginia, of the home; a son, Robert L. Murphy of Lancaster; two sisters, Mildred Rose and Louise Crawford, both of Norwood; a brother, Wilford Murphy of Cincinnati; and two grandsons. His parents, one sister and one brother are deceased. Rev. Edward Fischer will conduct funeral services at 2 p.m. Monday at Madison-Krabill Home for Funerals. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
