There are a lot of Munleys in the Carbondale/Scranton/Archbald area. My grandfather was a Munley and we still have family in the area. Hopefully someone from PA will respond to your post and provide some leads re: local chruches for records, etc. I'm planning on going to the family reunion this summer, so I'll let you know if I find anything!

I was not able to go. I don't remember what info you were looking for, but here are many branches of the Munley family in the Carbondale/Archbald area, so unless we're interested in the same one, I don't know that I would find anything helpful to you.

Hello
I have no idea where we are, but the name Munley struck a chord in my memory. Somehow , somewhere, I have relatives with that name. My father , John Mclane comes from Archbald, Pa and had a farm in South Canan. we passed through Carbondale and Scranton many times. I remember his sister lived at 121 Pine Street Archbald and I remember hearing the name Munley many times in my childhool.
