Our Grandfather & his sister left Sicily in 1903 . they moved to Bayonne New Jersy , his name is Antonio William Muni.Her name is Josepina Muni .They later settled in Connecticut.We are residing in Florida.

Vincenza Princiotto of Sant' Angelo di Brolo (her first husband was Francesco Demarco of Cefala Diana) daughters Marianna c 1886, Guiseppa, son Gaetano
She then married Domenico Muni c 1854 of Tusa. Children Antonina, Rose, Mariano, Maria,Annunziata, Domenica, female twin 1, female twin 2, RosaMaria. All the Muni children except the twins emigrated to the New London,CT/Westerly RI area 1903-1916. Marianna married a Francesco Micili and emigrated in 1912 to New London. Hi, My grandfather's name was Giuseppe Muni. He was born in 1918 in Trenton New Jersey. This may be possible nephew or son of the relative you are asking about.

I just found this message, after i sent the other to you asking which child you have. I am going to go by my grandfather's in a little bit and pick his brain for a while. He is usually pretty open to talk about things. I know that their mother was shot in front of them in the back as she was running down the street by Salvatore. He was a real nut job. I don't know if you remember when my grandfather's house burnt down in Waretown, but Salvatore actually started the fire and was trying to burn aunt wilma alive and my dad. My dad says he remembers him throwing oil on aunt wilma while they were trying to get out. I don't know if you still keep in contact with my dad, but he knows alot of info about Salvatore. Today I will see if my grandfather has a copy of his birth certificate so I can get his mother's complete name.

Carmine Muni is my grandfather. Next time you see him ask him about their mom. He has talked to me before about her, but when we talked about her I had not got on this website before so her name never stuck with me. I will probably see him today, so I will try to ask him. I do know she was greek. Which son of Uncle Augie's are you? I have met Gus before. My dad is Rick Muni.

Yes my Salvator Muni came from Palermo in 1920 I believe. My father is his youngest son. But as far as the surnames no I'm sorry he's never really spoken of his father or mother. I've been trying to find information for years now.

Ricky I would love any info you have on my grandfather, your great grandfather. Your Uncle Auggie has never mentioned anything about his parents. I would love to know more.

Hi,
I have no information on Muni, however, I have much information on Panepintos in Cammaratta Sicily. My great great grandmother was Rosaria Panepinto, married to Giuseppe La Pilusa. While researching my roots. I found many documents on Panepinto. I found you because I was Looking for Vincenzo Panepinto married to Maria Marigotti or Marigotto their child was Francesco Panepinto born 1822. I do not have my note availabel but I do know that I have records for both Panipintos and Bonacolttas. If I can help, contact me and I will be glad to share with you what I have. Please send me any information you are willing to exchange! I am trying my best to make a connection between Salvatore Muni and a woman named Paula (Paola) Muni - born abt 1886 - who married Angelo Bonaccolta in Italy.

There is also various mentions of a Vincenzo and Giuseppe Muni. Do you know if anyone by that name from back then?

On Salvatore Muni's WWI Draft Card, he listed his nearest relative as Angelo Bonaccolta from Jersey City, NJ. That is the one piece of info that has me wondering if Paola and Salvatore Muni are related...the Angelo Bonaccolta connection!

I have Paola Muni's parents listed as Raffaela Panepinto and an unknonwn Muni. Can you halp?

He is my great grandfather. I can probably give you alot of information about him. If I remember correctly he died the year I was born which is 1978. He immigrated here in the 1920's. He disappeared for a while because he murdered my great grandmother around early 1930's, and went to prison. when he got out the state actually forced my grandfather to take him in so he lived with my grandfather and dad for a while. It is a real interesting story

My great grandfather was Salvatore Muni, from Sicily. But he came to the United states in the 1920's. He may be the same one. My grandfather is Carmino Muni
