I know your posting was from awhile ago but I am trying to tie Michael J. Mungovan (his wife was Jane Guthrie) to James, Thomas (your great-grandfather) and Anne Mungovan Chappelle. According to Thomas' obituary, he had 2 brothers, James J. and Michael J., both of Lowell and a sister, Mrs. Frank Chappelle. Anne's marriage record lists her parents as John Mungovan and Mary Quinlan. James death record lists the parents as John Mungovan and Mary Quinlan. Thomas death record lists his parents as John Mungovan and Mary Quinlivin. But Michael J. Mungovan's death record lists his parents as John Mungovan and Ann Ginivan (which could be a typo). Do you have any information on Thomas parents or other siblings? Have you done any research on the other Mungovan families living in Lowell (Frank Mungovan, Patrick and Ellen Carey Mungovan)?
