Joseph was a bachelor, born county Clare of Ireland [although may have been county Carlow according to other evidence], occup storekeeper, ag 32, residence Smeaton, Parents: Joseph MARSHALL (farmer) and Susan ARMSTRONG.
Bridget was spinster, born county Clare of Ireland, ocup "lady", ag 21, residence Smeaton, Parents Patrick (farmer) and Margaret CAHIR
Married by Thomas Dormell, Catholic Clergyman, at Creswick Catholic Church, witnesses signed as Patrick MULQUINY and Mary MULQUINY
Joseph & Bridget had 9 children.

Also "Patrick & Edward MULQUINY inherited their farms from their father" in Smeaton according to "Smeaton Centenary Souvenir".
