Concerning Patrick (my ancestor) -- he and James are NOT brothers and there is no interaction between them in the Maryland Archives in Annapolis. Patrick arrived in 1647. He acquired a tract of land on Leonard's Creek, on the Western Shore. He purchased this with James Ganion, Andrew Scott and Thomas Ayers. The name of the property was "Scotland." That's all I know. I don't know where Patrick originated but he was in the colony long before James arrived.

There are so many misconceptions out there about these two -- most are assumptions and not proven.
