Oliver Elliott Mulanax

Looking for information (or confirmation) on Oliver Elliott Mulanax. He married Susan A. Perryman (daughter of John C. & Sarah M. (Matthews) Perryman) on 9 June 1892 in Greene Co., MO. They had one child I'm aware of: Clarence Edgar Mulanax. In the 1900 census, Oliver is in Coleman Co., TX as a widower. Clarence is in Cass, Greene Co., MO with his grandmother, Sarah (Matthews) Perryman. Then in 1910, Oliver is in San Angelo, Tom Green Co., TX, with wife Louisa, and they've been married about 7 years and have a 6 year old son, Earl. Oliver Elliott Mulanax and Louisa then go off to Seattle, King Co., WA and die there in 1952. Clarence was found in Richmond, Contra Costa Co., CA, but died in El Paso, TX, in 1954. He's buried in Fort Bliss National Cemetery. What I've come up with is from various records, but I was hoping someone could please tell me who Louisa/Louise A. is. I've seen indications she was "Lena Perryman", and her death certificate transcription indicates her father was Joe Mulanax, which I believe to be in error because that was Oliver's father. And does anyone know what happened to Earl? I never saw him again after 1910.

Thank you.

There were 2 Mulanax brothers in NE Kansas who married sisters from the Levier family (Native American). I can tell you more if this seems like the line you're looking for.

IMFA is revitalizing the Molyneux Y-DNA Surname Project!

Do you wonder if you might be related to the Molyneux who fought alongside William the Conqueror in 1066? If those Mx’s in South Carolina, Texas, Washington State, Australia or Liverpool might be your cousins?

Comparison of DNA test results among people sharing variants of a surname can help us answer these questions as genealogists. The displays of DNA results and pedigrees posted at our new website, www.imfa-dna.com, are designed for easier comparison, to help us reach solid conclusions from the tests and genealogical documentation.

Steve Mullinax, Co-Coordinator
Molyneux Y-DNA Surname Project

Marie Mullenneix Spearman
International Molyneux Family Association
President and U.S./Canadian Representative
Email: mxworld_us@mindspring.com

IMFA Webpage: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~imfa/home.html
IMFA Y-DNA Surname Project: http://www.imfa-dna.com
IMFA Wiki: http://imfa.pbworks.com
IMFA Blog: http://www.mxfamilyhistory.blogspot.com
In the Fannin county birth records in Texas the Mother is Blondie Mulanaz, the Husband is listed as Lle and the son is listed as Ysle Jr born 12-21-1935.
Alfred's first wife is listed as Bettie M on the 1910 census, born in Missouri about 1892. In 1920 and 1930 she's listed as Bethey. On Alfred's WWI registration she's listed as Betha. So I'm not sure which name is right. Where Berthie Elizabeth Tabor comes in I'm not sure, but it was supposedly after the kids were born and since the 1920 and 1930 census records match it would make it after 1930 sometime.

Barney and Elton are buried together in Sandsprings, OK. Barney died Jan 1st, 1983 and Elton Earl died Jan 19, 1983 just a couple weeks later. Not sure how they died.

Denver died Oct 18th 1976, not sure where he is buried but have a photo of the gravesite sent to me by another person working on the same family. I'd need to go back through some notes to find a location right now.

Dail Ruben married Jewel Darling and had a daughter named Ginger Gail Mulanax. Dail died in 1952 and is buried in Sandsprings. I have pictures of all the kids gravesites except for Blondie.

If I can help with any other info please let me know.

Jeremy
kwilson@bak.rr.com

Leon Mulanax is my uncle.....my mother Ernestine Wilson is his sister.....all siblings have long since passed but my brother Ron Mulanax would have a great deal of info and access to the Mulanax Family book of history. He lives in St. George Kansas and stills attends "Our Lady of the snows" church on the reservation where most of the siblings are buried.
He would be a wonderful source of info. I believe he stays in contact with some of the extended family.

I saw some information posted on
Ancestory.com that seems related to the search I have been doing. This is what I have found out William F. Mulanax and Rose Tabor is my Grandmother
Edith Marie Mullinax{Grimm} parents.she had three btothers and four sisters Earl M.Mullinax,Nathan Mullinax,Elden D. Mullinax,Maggie Mulanax,Ethel Mulanax,Luellen Mullinax, and Lancy Mullinax. I contacted the only know surviving sibling to my knowledge Elden D. Mullinax who resides
in Decater, Arkansas. He told me a little about his parents and siblings. The most important thing was that to his knowledge his brothers and sisters had many variations of spelling Mullinax. He also said when he joined the service during WWII they told him to change how he spelled
his name. He told me that Maggie married a man by last name Tigg and she died somewhere in California. Then he told me that Ethel married a man by last name of Stenick and she is buried in Bigsby, Oklahoma. Hementionted to me that Luellen married a man by the last name of Langley and she is buried somewhere in Arkansascity, Arkansas. William F. Mulanax Rose MayMulanax{Tabor} are buried in Wagoner county unsure of cemetary. Do you have amy more information that you can sharewith me please write back and tell me.Thank You, Johnathan Grimm
