My mother is Anna Mrazek Chromicky, born in Rovensko, Slovakia on August 16, 1919 (Today is her 80th birthday! She immigrated to US in 1937. I'm researching a lead on a great-uncle, John Mrazek, also from Rovensko that is rumored as dying in the coal mines near Tresckow PA. I'm traveling near there tomorrow and may stop at the St. John's Slovak Lutheran Cemetary in Summit Hill to see if there is a grave marker.

I have been looking for some coonections to the
Mrazek's for a long time.I hope that we are
connected. The info that I have is about my
greatgrandparents and greatgreatgrandmother.
My g.granparents names are Frances Mrazek
and she married Frank F. Palenik.Frank came
over from Brno,Moravia,Czech. in 1908.Frances
came over 1 yr.later in 1909.When Frances
came over she brought her mother with her.Her
name was Marie Mrazek.Marie left her husband
back home because he was a drunk. This is all
I know of him.No birthdate,no name,no other
family or anything. This is where I hope to
bridge the gap.If there are no connections to
anyone else the Mrazek name is gone already
in my line.I am hoping that some one knows
more of the past.Thank you in advance for
your time.
