Hi, maybe we have the same Mraz family. Our Josef and Anna Mraz came to New York in the early 1900's. Josef came one year before Anna did. Anna brought the children with her when she came over. Their names are Joseph, Vendal George, and John. We think they also had a girl but she died early in life. Not sure where Josef and Anna lived but we think in Ohio. The eldest son Joseph went to CA, Vendal George lived in Ohio worked in the shipyards there, then moved to Florida where he passed away in 1979. I have more information regarding the children of Vendal, but nothing else of the other children. Family stories say that when Josef and Anna came to the states, Josef worked in the coal mines of W. Virginia. Hope this helps. Let me know if we have a common ancestor. Good luck!

Hi, unfortunately, I do not think we can make a connection at this time. I know that my gr-gr-grandparents were Louis (Alois) and Marquetta and they came over thru the Port of NY in abt 1880. I am not sure if they came together or not. They did come with three of their nine children. The fourth was born in 1884 in Lavaca County, Texas. Good Luck in your search.
