Hello,

We had a chance to drive to Cambridge, MA, this morning, and go to the City Clerk's office. With the exact date of death of Mrs. Filomena (ROSA) MOURA, we were able to look at the death record. I knew most of the information, but it was confirmed that her father was Laurindo de ROSA, born Azores. In the space for the mother it said Unknown, but born Azores. It's a reminder that a member of the family probably filled in the spaces on the death record.

As in my postings from almost a year ago, both Filomena and her 3 daughters had the middle name, Augusta. So, it is only a guess that her mother's maiden name might have been Filomena AUGUSTA. She was known during her time in MA/US as Mrs. Phoebe MOURA, and she was 71 yrs. and 8 mos., which puts her birth-year at ~1878.

No one remembers where Francisco and "Phoebe" MOURA lived while on Sao Miguel.
