Doesn't look like many use this board but figured I'd ask if anyone is investigating this family. Most of the info I have comes from a cousin who did significant research in Bermuda and Santa Maria.
Victorino de Moura left Santa Maria and came to Bermuda with his wife Bernardina sometime in the mid-1880s. They had at least six children; three of them- Maria Julia, Manuel, and Jessie stayed on Bermuda and raised families. The youngest (Mary) returned to the Azores with Victorino sometime around the turn of the century. Two brothers moved on to the US: Antonio (Tony) settled in Rhode Island and my g-grandfather Jose (Joseph) went to Oakland, CA with his wife Philomena Barros.
Would be interested in trading info with anyone looking at this family.
