Annie K. Mountz, 81, formerly of Locust Street, Newmanstown, died at 8:32 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, 2005, at Manor Care, where she had resided since January 2003. She was the wife of the late William H. Mountz, who died Aug. 28, 1981.

Born in Millcreek Township, she was the daughter of the late Edwin P. and Rosie A. Boyer Ulrich. She was a member of St. Daniel's Lutheran Church, Robesonia. She was employed for many years at the Akron Shoe Factory; Mills and Mills Garment Factory, Richland; and Gloray Knitting Mill.

Surviving are sisters Elsie Ulrich and Mary Ulrich, both of Millcreek Township, and Minnie Ulrich Duffy of Newmanstown; and brothers Irwin Ulrich of Millcreek Township and Elmer Ulrich and Elwood Ulrich, both of Robesonia.

She was preceded in death by sons, Ralph E. Mountz, who died Dec. 19, 1998, and David L. Mountz, who died Oct. 28, 2000.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Lamm and Witman Funeral Home Inc., Wernersville. Interment will be at Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
