Looking for any information relating to a John Henry Mortimore. It is believed that he came to the United States from England(?)in the 1850's and settled somewhere in Pennyslvania. He may have been in the union army and somehow came to Canada and settled in Essex County (across from Detroit, Mich)around 1864 - 1865. He married a Charlotte Fox. No information on any brothers or sisters and no information on his parents.
