ZANESVILLE: Nancy A. Abele, 76 of Zanesville, Ohio passed away Monday May 7, 2012 at The Adams Lane Care Center.

She was born January 19, 1936 in Zanesville , Ohioa daughter of the late Edmund and Geraldine Boni Morrison. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, enjoyed Bingo, loved watching Golf and Tiger Woods; and was an avid Ohio State Football fan.

Nancy is survived by her children, Randy (Jane) Abele of Millbrook, AL, Danny (Rhonda) Abele of Roseville, Ohio, Sherrie Armbrust of Philo, Ohio, Melissa (Dave) Elliott of Zanesville, Jonathan (Amy) Abele of Commercial Point, OH, Jason Abele of Dresden, Ohio, Patrick (Kara) Abele of Washington, NC and Megan (Tony) Nguyen of Zanesville; sister, Sara Morrison Lehman of Newark, OH; 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lisa Marie Abele in 1963; infant brother, David; the father of her children, Donald Abele; favorite brother-in-law, Harold Lehman; and aunts and uncle, Sis and Zane Houk, Kate Morrison; infant grandson, Chad Abele; and infant great grandson, Ashe Arai Elliott.

Special thanks to her extended family and caring staff at Adams Lane Care Center, for the love and care they showed to Nancy for many years.

Memorial services will be held at 1pm on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W. MILITARY RD., ZANESVILLE with Sara Morrison Lehman remembering her sister and sharing by family and friends.
Friends may call the hour prior to services.
At Nancy's request cremation has taken place. Private family memorial services will be held July 7, 2012.
