John Moriarty and his tangled tale of 'Mary Ann' wives

Classification: Query
Surnames: Moriarty - Casey, Carey, O'Brien and Mulcahy / Dornan
Trying to trace John who was born in Ireland, probably County Kerry around 1836, and married a Mary Ann Casey or Carey or O'Brien. Depends on whose tree you look at. Certainly he fathered a son James D Moriarty in about 1855. I can find a marriage to Mary O'Brien in 1857.

John Moriarty then married Mary Ann Dornan (nee Mulcahy) in Woolwich in 1874. They lived in Woolwich in the census of 1881, and in 1891 and 1901 at 21 Ogilby Street Woolwich.

In 1881 the Dornan children lived with them.
In 1891 James D Moriarty, 35 year old son born in Ireland 1855 is with them.

Any help, ideas would really be appreciated.

Thank you.
