I found a pretty big gap in my Morgan line.

My GGG grandfather Joseph Uriah Burdick of Granville,NY married
Cynthia Morgan b.June 30,1809 in Poultney, Rutland Co, Vermont. d. 11-20-1875 possibly Concord, NH.

Her parents I have found to be:
Jonathan Morgan 1779 -1859 Simsbury, CT
Submission Whittier 1785 - 1871 Poultney, VT

Heres the problem.

Its said on almost everything I can possibly turn up tells me that
Jonathan Morgans parents are:
Burt Jonathan Morgan 1656 - 1720
Sarah Cooley 1652-1743

Obviously not possible

I have also come up with a Jonathan married to a Hannah Smith but again the dates are also in the late 1600s

Can someone please help me here?
