I am descended from John Murray 1737-1790 whose brother Francis Murray was long domiciled in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The family of 1st Philadelphia Mayor Humphrey Murray (Morrey) has involvement in that county and appears to descend from the Cheshire Morrey family and was contemporary with a brother Leonard Morrey and a cousin John Morrey at the Meer or Brereton in Cheshire. I am exploring this family in hopes of finding mine. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Can you link it up to any of the families of Clan Murray?
