Maria (Lisa) Colonna, 90, beloved mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord on August 9, 2000. She was predeceased by her husband, Mario and her son, Frederick. She is survived by her loving son, John and his wife, Betsy and their three children, Stephanie Johnson, Marisa and Christopher Colonna. She is also survived by her brother, Attilio Moraca; her sister, Chesira Iera; her sister-in-law, Luigina Colonna; and many nieces and nephews.
Lisa was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Scranton. She loved to cook and to garden and will be dearly missed by her family, friends and neighbors. Her family is grateful to Dr. Bianca, Dr. Forno, the staff of Lourdes at Home, and the aides who helped her in her final weeks.

Funeral services will be held Monday at Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home, 1030 N. Main Avenue, Scranton with a Mass at St. Anthony's, Wood St., Scranton at 9:30 a.m. Monday, August 14, 2000. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Seton Catholic Central High School, Binghamton, N.Y.
