KING - Mr. Jona Clyde Moorefield, 88, died early Sunday, March 2, 2008, at Village Care of King [Stokes County, NC]. He was born Sept. 13, 1919, in Stokes County to Walter and Emma Cain Moorefield. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Moorefield; four daughters, Elsie Moorefield, Rebecca Moorefield, Barbara Moorefield, all of King, and Virginia Ortiz of Winston-Salem; a son, Clyde Moorefield of King. A graveside service will be held at First Christian Church Cemetery. There will be no visitation. [edited]
