Help! I am trying to find information on my grandmother's death.
My father told me he saw her last living ini Corpus Christi with a man named Moon. I went to Corpus a week ago and I found her in the 1951 Corpus Christi Texas telephone directory listed with Charles S. Moon. 205 Cheyene. Her name was given as Elnora. He owned a small grocery store. She was not there in 1953, so I know she had to have died before 1953.
I have found no record of their marriage.
From famly history I have been able to piece together she was found dead under a bridge. I do not know where or when not what the cirumstances of her death were. I could sure use some help with this gap in my family line.
My Mother was never close to her Mother )Maggie Elnora Smith Newman) and did not live with her most of her life. She now has Alzhimers, so what little she did know I am no longer able to get from her. If I at least had her death date I could find out more information.
