I am also from the Monti family of Ischia. Someone named Ken Emery made a book for my family with our ancestors stories and even recipes. Its called Monti: An Italian-American family. A Restituta is in it so is a Pietro Paolo Monti. Its very interesting. My line of the family settled in Providence in the Federal Hill section but they did land in NY. Since then weve moved to Eastern CT(far move huh!). I hope you see this. Ive attached a photo of the book cover.
