My father in law, Wayne, just now sent me interesting information, and I would like to share it with you. Is your email still the same (the one that starts with x at hotmail.com)? Or have you changed your email address? If you are not comfortable posting it here, please send me private email.

I would like to start the Mnich genealogy and would love it if you can help me :-)

Hi there

It's ok that you didn't repsond. I started working on my Outlaw/Mnich family tree as well. Please feel free to check it out. I stopped at Wayne's father since I don't have much information on Wayne's family. I got sidetracked working on Wayne's wife's relatives. I came to a brick wall at my husband's maternal ggggg grandfather in North Carolina. There is no information on him, his wife, and his ancestors. I am still searching high and low for the link that will connect this person to the ancestor that arrived here from England in 1652. Once I am done with that side, I will go back to Wayne's side.

Wayne said it is possible that his name is Konstanty Wayne Mnich, but it was changed to Connie. In his formal papers, it shows C. Wayne Mnich. He added that his father grew up in Coffeyville, Kansas (gasp!), and his mother, Lottie, grew up in Joplin, Missouri. How they both ended up in Griffith I don't know. I would love to find out :-)

We MIGHT go to Bloomington, Indiana, to visit Wayne and Carolyn this weekend. If we do, I will be sure to drill Wayne on his family's background :-)

I sent out email a while ago to the Mnich relatives asking them if they would like for me to start the Mnich family tree. Two emails were bounced back, and one of them was yours.
Maybe you and I can work together on the family tree? How do you feel about it? Or do you prefer sole ownership of the family tree? LOL :-) It's up to you.

Stay in touch!
