I am researching my husbands family. His grandfather was Grover Cleveland Mize of Georgia. He owned a saw mill, the family eventually moved to Florida. I was looking at some of the old family pictures and I found one that has a picture of two Semi's that have Mize written across the tops of the trailers. I can read the numbers on the license plates but not where the plates are from, I was told that it was kin that lived in Texas but no one is alive that knows anything about them. They also had horses, I know it isn't a lot of information but I am in hopes that maybe someone might know of Mize's that drove these trucks. I would say that the pictures were taken possibly in the 40's or 50's. There is nothing on the backs of the photos to give me any clues. The picture that has both the trucks also has a young boy and girl standing in front of each truck with their bikes (which I think are Schwinn Black Phantoms which were first sold in 1939) If anyone has any information about trucking Mizes please contact me
