Surnames: Mixon, Posey, Handley, Douglas
I'm trying to trace back my family's root. So far I've gotten as far as the Civil War era.
I'm looking for any information anyone may have on Edward B. Mixon (born in 1810; died in 1887) or on his wife, Lucinda Posey (born in 1811; died in 1895).
I would also appreciate any information anyone may have on their children; one being a female....Lucretia Mixon (born 1829; died 1910). I'm not sure if there were other children or not.
