Hi all,

Thanks to Judy my connection with the Millwoods made a large jump from my g'grandmother Rosa Ann Millwood (married to Thomas A Martin).

I have had my mtDNA tested and have found that I'm a Haplogroup T2. What does this mean?

Well, if you're a female descended directly and strictly from the MATERNAL line of any of these women, Rosa Ann Millwood, Sally Millwood, Nicey Millwood, Fanny Millwood, Murilla Millwood and her mother, etc.. then you too are Haplogroup T2.

Additionally if you're a female offspring of any female offspring from this line, you too are T2.

For a Male to have mtDNA (Millwood-wise)they must be the 1st male from the direct female line. Otherwise the mtDNA is lost from any mail millwoods, etc.

I just wanted to shout a Hello Cousins!!!

Cheers
George
