Who is George of Jamaica? I just started filling in the blanks of the Mills and I've gotten past Williams Mills. I've gotten to John Mills (1712-1794) and still have hints going farther back. I would be more than happy to share my tree with you if you cannot find it. I will check the other message boards as well.

Something really interesting though with Sarah Jolly on the Kieffer side... even though her husband John Jones applied to be on the Native rolls and stated she was full Indian as were their children, the census records say she was black.

I'm currently trying to connect her with John Jolly, the Cherokee Indian Chief. Her dad was Joseph Jolly and his dad was John Jolly (1620-1716). It's difficult because every single person with the last name Jolly, named one (or two) of their sons John. It is the same time-frame though and the same locations, so I'm pretty sure there is a connection. This search just keeps going deeper and deeper! And alot of it makes absolutely no sense!
