I'm researching Robert Millie, the first owner of my house. I live in Palmers Green which is in the borough of Enfield in North London. From Kelly's Street Directory I learned that Robert lived in the house from 1909/10 until at least 1922 but was not there in 1925. Being a rare name I though it would be interesting to see if I could find out more.

There are only 3 Robert Millies listed by the 1901 Census all of whom were born within 10 miles of my house. Two were aged 22 and one was aged 56 in 1901 so it could have been any of these.

I am mainly intereseted in his occupation, whether he had family and if he served in the first war.
