I am looking for any information on a Fred D Miller who married Alice Strange on 14 Mar 1883 in Blue Rapids, Marshall, Kansas.
He would be my g-g-g grand father. All my mother knows is that he worked for the railroad. He went to work one day and never came back.
They had 2 children Clarence S Miller and Harry W Miller. On the census the boys list their father's birth place as Iowa, Illinois, and United States, so I don't know which is correct, or if they even knew. I can't find him on any census with them and Alice is shown as a widow by 1900.
If anyone knows anything, any information would be welcome and appreciated.
