Lucy and Minerva MIDDLETON they married brothers
Charles & James FERREE (FREE FERIO) both b. PA.

Charles married Lucy abt. 1850 Washington Co. Iowa
settled in Mahaska Co. Iowa; some say family still there. both buried in Mahaska Co. as far as I know.

James married Minerva abt 1855 settled in Mahaska Co. Iowa. Minerva d. prior 1900 in Mahaska Co. Iowa
James remarried, passed abt. 1905 in Marion or Monroe Co. Iowa.

The FERREE FREE boys Parents:
Reuben & Nancy (nee WELLS) FERREE b. ca. 1790's married abt. 1818 and stayed in PA. as they came west from PA. found in Ohio Stark Co. by 1840's then came to Iowa by 1850's. These FERREE lines go back to 1600's of Leah DuBOIS her mother was DEYO both lines out of France came to New York also helped the FERREE family get to PA. in early 1700's Madame FERREE & adult Children first settlers of Lancaster CO. PA. on Wm. PENN land deals and Queen of England. As they fled France via Germany to England for a new life in a land called "Isle of PA." termed "America". P.S very little is known of Nancy (nee WELLS) FERREE if you can share anything Clues or hints for her lineage I would be so thankful.. and your information would help many of the FERREE researchers find her a family WELLS line. Any suggestions or clue for what WELLS line she might be from is a blessing.. No one seems to know I know she did not just hatch out of an egg. she had to have a WELLS family somewhere thats links her up.
