I'm trying to research my Middaugh heritage (was my mother's maiden name). I'm finding it INCREDIBLY difficult as all of my ancestors from that branch of the family have passed on.

The furthest I can go back is Jasper Middaugh (1871-5/28/1960), from Ohio.

Tracing the Middaugh name back to the 1600s? I am in awe of your genealogical stamina.

Please help me if you can, I would greatly appreciate it.
