Hi Pitrone relation,

We have to be related. All of the places you mentioned in your post I have in my research. My grandmother is Rose Petrone Genco. She was born in Johnstown, Pa. daughter of Antonino and Santa Locandro Petrone. The family went back to San Pier Niceto until 1910, then returned to US. Antonino Petrone had a sister Petronilla Cantanese who lived in New Brunswick, NJ. Her husband was Frank Cantanese. Before moving to New Brunswick they lived in Bamesboro Pa. Antonino was married to Santa Locandro, from San Pier Niceto. Antonino's parents were Francesco and Anna Fracchia. I am sure we are somehow related.

Surnames: Micale Catanese
My great-grandfather Dominic Catanese was married to a Carmela Micale. They had children Jenny, Angie, Mary, and Frank.

I believe that Carmela had a brother Frank, but I don't know any more than that.

Are you related to a Edith Catanese Insana? I'm still trying to figure out if she and I are related or not.

Not sure who is still watching this thread but I too am a relative. I have many of the same places and travels. My great grandparents were Petranella "Lena" Petrone and Antonio Catanese. I'm descended through their daughter Anna Catanese who married Francesco "Frank" Nicolas Micale. My grandmother Anna was born in Pennsylvania. I know my grandfather worked in the mines and that they lived in Barnsboro at some point as well. My great grandparents went back to San Pier Nicento prior to WWI but returned to the US when WWI broke out. Ultimately, setting in New Brunswick, NJ where mom was born.
