Working on soldiers of the war of 1812 who got warrants for serving. A Frankln Metcalf had a warrant in Mercer Co. Illinois, Abington Twp. Sec.24. The warrant states he served with Marston's Co. 21st reg inf. I have tried to find some genealogy on him but not having much luck.
Anyone have some family history to share?
