Known children: James/John WIlliam Merrill b. abt. 1824 and Azariah M. Merrill b. abt. 1819 and (2) Elizabeth Merrill who married Mr. Irving. James/John William Merrill is who my husband descends from. He married Martha Miller and their children are: (1) Thomas Breckenridge Merrill b. 1853 Muhlenburg Co., KY married Mary Elizabeth Vincent, (2) John W. Merrill (3) Sarah Merrill (4) Caroline Merrill.
