Hello!
I've been searching for records on Anthony Merchant, b. 1836 in Maine... I've come up with 6 so far, but nothing that gives any hint to his parents names. He married Rebecca (Maiden name unknown), b. 1841. His children include John B. Merchant, b. 1860, James A. Merchant, b. 1861, Francis A. Merchant, b. 1863, Annie M. Merchant, b. 1864, Henry Merchant, b. 1867, Lucy V. Merchant, b. 1871, and Francis M. Merchant, b. 1878. The surname could have been changed from Marchant to Merchant at some point in time.

If anyone has any information on Anthony's parents, please let me know! It would be MUCHLY appreciated.
