Hello Meneses!

I am no longer Meneses as I just married but was always curious of where the name Meneses came from? I wanted to know more about the family on my fathers side I am hoping to locate more since all I have is my dad, grandpa andt thats it! :( HELP!!! PS. I was born in GUATEMALA
