I believe we are related through Enoch, Peter and William, but here is what I have as far as my lineage:

4 Great Grandparents Enoch Melson and Rachael (no maiden name known)
5 Great Grandparents Peter Melson and Rachel King
6 Great Grandparents William S Melson and Sally Bloxom

This is as far as I've gotten so far. Right now I'm stuck on trying to figure out Rachael's maiden name. BTW, Peter and Rachel King had a son also named Peter (Enoch's brother). Since he would have been a 4th great uncle to me I haven't researched him and his lineage. Right now, I'm just concentrating on my grandparents until I can find out each branches point of entry into the U.S.

I would love to keep in touch though and compare notes. I've had to go back and correct a lot of my tree from what others had on their trees because the information wasn't correct. I'm trying to stay true to going off census, marriage, death, wills/landowner, military records
