I am also from Ohio and have a Meeks connection - my great grandmother's maiden name was Meeks! Could we possibly be related? Her name was Cora Meeks and her father was James Meeks. Hi Karl - I am researching the Gray family and have information that may be of interest to you. Bazil Meeks married Mary Gray in 1820. They had eight children: John, Moses, Anne, Sarah, Elizabeth, Phebe, Gideon,
and Narcissa. After Mary's death Bazil married Jane Williamson and they had one son, Lewis. Hope this helps you!

My late father was Tom Meeks, son of Lyle Vesta Meeks, son of GW Meeks, son of Moses Meeks, son of Bazil Meeks, who would be my great, great, great, great grandfather.
