Meech family

I am not a relative of yours, nor do I descend from the Meech family, but I have something that I believe you will be interested in. I have a Remembrance book from 1831-1832 that was owned by Juliette M. Meech. I am certain that this is your same Juliet born in 1815. The book indicates that her maiden name was Meech and her married name was Morgan. But more importantly, there are entries in the book from her sister, Olive A. Meech. And I think also an S.W Meech, and cousin George M. Swan?, niece Hattie.

I think this was a book that she received when she married and went off with her husband, or it was related to a move. I believe she would have been about 17 at its writing. The poetic entries in this book are very poignant and from close friends and relatives.

The book is not full, difficult to read and there are pages that someone has removed long ago. While I am not willing to part with it (it was a last gift from a loved one 20 yrs. ago.) I would certainly be happy to scan or Xerox the pages for you.

However, if you are not particularly interested since this isn't your direct line, please be honest as I am very busy and would rather save the time for a person who genuinely wants it because it will be hard to copy. There are no specific genealogical entries such as births or deaths listed, and I do not see your relative's name there either.

If you are interested, contact via email at Watchcrow@aol.com. Happy hunting!
